Big Bold ZinfandelTasting Notes (DeRose)
Cabernet Franc
It displays aromas of cassis, tobacco and a hint of cinnamon. Its rich mouthfeel is complemented with notes of chocolate, vanilla and spice. Serve with chicken piccata, veal and ostrich.

Cabernet Pfeffer
Aromas of white peppercorns, bright red fruit and vanilla complement this uniquely spicy wine. It rounds the pallet with soft tannins, pepper, cherries and a hint of pomegranate. It is best enjoyed with cured meats, fowl and pork.

Chardonnay
Aromas of green apples, pineapple and light toast complement this wine's rich, creamy mouthfeel. Allowing to stay on the lees and in french oak barrels a full year give this wines its layers of fruit, toast and complexity. Enjoy with seafood, cheeses and pasta in rich cream sauces.

Merlot (Carneros)
This exceptional Merlot is sure to satisfy any big Cabernet drinker's pallet, yet is approachable for even the most modest Merlot drinker. Full of ripe red fruits, jam vanilla and toast in the nose, with big supple tannins and a long lingering finish, this wine is perfect for lean cuts of beef, roasted pork and pasta with hearty sauces. Suitable for drinking now, but will develop gracefully for up to seven or eight additional years in the bottle.

Negrette
Wild plum and berries burst out of the glass, with nuances of vanilla and spice. Our Negrette's soft and silky tannins make this wine suitable for just sipping. Enjoy with beef, lamb or game served with heavy sauces.

Sangiovese
This wine tastes of cranberry and cherry with undertones of spice followed by a supple finish. The depth and complexity of this wine will make it the ultimate companion to great Italian cuisine.

Syrah
Our dryfarmed Syrah displays aromas of blueberries, smoked bacon and spice. Its full bodied mouthfeel is complemented by balanced forward fruit, bold tannins and a long finish. This wine pairs well with lamb tenderloin, barbequed ribs and sweetbreads.

Zinfandel (Dryfarm, Old Vine)
Our signature wine! This fruity and full-bodied Zinfandel is dark in color from extending the fermentation of highly ripened fruit. Enjoy its intense berry flavors through a silky, lingering finish

Zinfandel (NickDeRose)
We handcrafted this small block of Zinfandel as a tribute to Nick DeRose, who, like the wine, was bold, robust and full of life. This was Nick's favorite vineyard. Sandy soil produces brilliant flavors of berries and cherries. These enhanced flavors derive from handpicked, carefully selected, fully mature fruit and an extended fermentation. So, in honor of Nick DeRose—Salute!

Viognier
This rare varietal originates from the Rhone Valley in France. Our Viognier, grown on vines over 100 years old, yields a wine that is intense with flavors of ripe pineapple, pear and apricot, followed by a remarkably clean dry finish.

Tasting Notes (Car series)
Hollywood Red
Extremely bold and fruit forward, this Zinfandel-based wine captures the best characteristics offered by several estate vineyards. The distinct blend of six red varietals has aromas of white pepper, blackberries and vanilla with intense ripe berry flavors. Pair with fillet mignon, pork tenderloin or hearty pasta dishes.

Continental Cabernet
Aromas of white peppercorns, bright red fruit and vanilla complement this uniquely spicy wine. It rounds the pallet with soft tannins, pepper, cherries and a hint of pomegranate. It is best enjoyed with cured meats, fowl and pork.

Sharknose Chardonnay
This Chardonnay expresses a nose of pineapple, flint and light toast followed by tropical fruit flavors and a touch of butter. Crisp, lively acids and a never-ending finish will complement baked halibut, barbecued oysters or vegetable lasagna with white sauce.
