2008 Zinfandel (Nick DeRose vineyard)
We handcrafted this small block of Zinfandel as a tribute to Nick DeRose, who, like the wine, was bold, robust and full of life. This was Nick’s favorite vineyard. Sandy soil produces brilliant flavors of berries and cherries. These enhanced flavors derive from handpicked, carefully selected, fully mature fruit and an extended fermentation. Hollywood Red (#13)
