This is Chianti, made from Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, comes from the Montepuliciano and neighbouring townships in the provinces of Siena and Arezzo.  It's color is ruby red with good violet shades.  The bouquet is immediate and direct with pronounced notes of red berry fruits.  The flavor reveals a remarkable body and a very good balance among its components, with a pleasant tannic finish.  This wine pairs well with savoury first courses including Tuscan cured meat, roasted red and white meat.  Serve it at a temperature of 16-18 degrees C (60-65 degrees F).

Valdichiana Bianco Vergine,Denominazione di Origine Controllata is made from Trebbiano, Toscano, Chardonnay and Viognier grown in the Arezzo and Siena regions. Its color is straw yellow with greenish glares.  The bouqet is fruity with notes of white flower (hawthorn)-harmonious and persistent.  The flavor is balnaced and continuous, with good harmony between alcohol and acidity.  Typical of this vine, it has a pleasant bitter almond finish.  This wine pairs well with an aperitif, perfect with light hors d'oeuvres, fish or white meat.  Serve it at a temperature of 10-12 degrees C (50-54 degrees F).
